Finals day at the Andalucian Championships at Indalo and a fantastic display of bowling from all the finalists. Player of the tournament was our very own Shootsie who retained two of the titles he won last year. With new partner Neil Leeder, the Zurgena duo beat Chris Ewer and John Fitzpatrick (ALBC) to take the coveted gold medal in the Men's Pair event. Shootsie then played Mark Naylor (ALBC) in the Men's Singles final and with a flawless performance he took his second gold medal of the day winning 21-9. But the real star of the tournament was Julie Mason who had a superb week and a great final losing narrowly to Debbie Colqhoun (Indalo) to take a silver medal in the Ladies Singles. With the events of the last two weeks, Julie has shown a real strength of character defeating several Spanish International players. We are very proud of Julie's achievements in the championships and Julie, Tony would have been so proud of you.
